To learn from, and spur forward – these are the goals that Weidmüller and the Austrian KEBA AG, the expert in industrial automation, set themselves when they announced their cooperation at SPS IPC Drives 2018.

Both companies complement each other with interdisciplinary know-how in the development of IoT-enabled applications for machine and plant construction. Within the cooperation, the partners provide each other products of their portfolios. From the combination of Weidmüller’s u-control control module, the KEBA Engineering Suite (u-create studio) and the solution for machine control and plant visualisation from GTI, for example, a comprehensive automation concept for industry 4.0 was created.

The Austrian company KEBA was founded in 1968 in Linz and is established as an expert for industrial automation in areas such as series machine construction, robotics, electromobility and plastics technology.
